Brighouse Town Ladies Manager Rob Mitchell

Speaking after the match Brighouse Town Ladies Manager Rob Mitchell said: "A good win today and a dominant display, we set the tone early on with the goal and then took further control of the game.

"It's never easy playing a side who fight for every point but we managed to secure the win and another clean sheet.

"I felt after the break we became a little sloppy and maybe a bit complacent, Crewe tried to frustrate us and gambled with the offside trap to good effect, we did however manage to find a way through to give the scoreline a more realistic feel to how the game had gone."

He added: "I was delighted with some of the football we played and in particular the build up for the third goal was excellent. We just need to keep going now and try and win our final two league games starting this coming Sunday away at Chorley."
